From one of Robert Held's newest lines, glossy black glass with a sweeping wave of fine silver adorns these elegant pieces reminiscent of Art Deco. Each hand blown glass piece is individually hand made so variations in size and decoration are to be expected and are what makes each piece unique. Clean with a soft damp cloth and buff silver areas with a soft cloth to maintain shine.
Robert Held's unique designs are created using techniques developed over 2000 years ago.
Each piece began as molten glass gathered onto the end of a "blowpipe". Coloured glass containing minerals such as popper, cobalt or gold is added to create the final decoration.
The glass is then both mouth-blown and hand-formed into its final shape.
After being gradually annealed (cooled), the glass is ground, polished and signed. This finished piece of art is now ready to grace your home.
